about A+
Anna L Koosmann (A+) is an American architect and Fulbright scholar with over ten years of award winning experience working at SOM Chicago, SS&L Seattle, and MSR Minneapolis. A co-founder of TiLT, a Seattle-based grassroots design-build coalition, and SEED Network member, she has collaborated with culturally-diverse and economically-challenged communities in the U.S. and abroad. She worked for over two years in the Philippines establishing the first design-build program at Foundation University, Dumaguete City from 2012-2014 and returned on a Fulbright scholarship to institutionalize the program from August-December 2015. Koosmann received a BS cum laude in Architecture and Art History Minor from the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, and a Master of Architecture from the University of Washington in Seattle. She has exhibited artworks and temporary, site-specific installations domestically and internationally. She strives to "create to elevate" in all her endeavors.
